The arrested is the unemployed Susumu Nakao (23) in Midori Ward, Chiba City. According to police, at around 2.30 pm on March 14, there was a suspicion of confinement involving a 40-year-old female employee taken hostage with a knife into a shipping company in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture. Nakao has been stuck for about 18 hours, but released the woman at about 8:30 am on March 15 following a police officer's persuasion, and said she was not hurt.
