A group of stray dogs sacked a newborn baby to death in an operating room of a private hospital in Farukabad district of the capital of Uttar Pradesh state in India, according to the British newspaper, The Guardian.

The newspaper added that the Indian authorities closed the hospital after accusing workers of "wrongful killing", as a group of stray dogs entered from the hospital window and reached the operating room, and attacked the 3-hour-old child only, before hearing his relatives, who were roaming inside The hospital, dog sounds rattling the baby early yesterday morning.

Police said the new baby was wounded throughout his body.

The family reported that hospital officials initially informed them that the child had been born dead, and when the family objected and requested proof, the hospital administrators offered the child’s relatives money to silence them.

The authorities indicated that the hospital was operating without a license and might face illegal work penalties.
