The teacher was automatically placed on sick leave a year and a half ago by the president of the University of Lorraine without presenting any pathologies.
"Inappropriate behavior"
How to explain this situation ? It all started from an “altercation” with colleagues during a meeting. The latter alerted the university hierarchy, leading to his sick leave. Solicited by 20 Minutes , the latter puts forward "significant problems of inappropriate behavior" to explain her decision.
Problem, the specialist consulted by the teacher after this decision does not find him any disease. This leads the university to waive the compulsory leave four months later. "Mr. Zoubir lives very badly what is happening", summarizes his lawyer, Me Anne-Laure Taesch. Together, they challenged the decision of the University of Lorraine before the administrative court. Which agreed with the teacher by canceling his sick leave, as revealed by Le Républicain Lorrain.
"I want to get my job back"
In principle, it should be reinstated. Except that the teacher has so far still not found his post. "I am at the same time relieved by the decision of the justice which establishes that the university took this decision on a false pretext and in anger. I want to go back to my job and see my students again, ”continues Professor Zoubir.
"How can this teacher, who is appreciated by his students as evidenced by the dozens of certificates that we have collected, be dismissed from his post? Asks his lawyer. For the moment, the University of Lorraine, which says "to follow this dossier closely (...) to build a solution" does not seem to have found one.
