If the infectious disease has only been diagnosed recently by the artist, he has probably suffered from it for years, as he explained in his message.
Lyme disease, most commonly transmitted by a tick bite, can cause joint pain, heart and nervous system problems, but patients are generally treated with antibiotic treatment. 67,000 people suffered from it in France in 2018.
