Well, well, so fast we did not expect!

I get up early, because I found on the Internet the very first reports of Iranian shelling of American airfields in Iraq on the night of January 7-8.

And almost immediately there was a message about the death of Boeing, loaded mainly by Iranians (82 people out of 176 dead) over Tehran's airport.

Well, how can you not connect the two events? I knitted. In this case, I have the right to suspect the American military (if not the main military in the Pentagon, then their subordinates in Iraq) of an instant embittered reaction to missile attacks on American military bases. The Pentagon might not have known.

Conspirological fortune telling, you say? But I lived in the United States for more than five years and watched their reactions with plenty. Without catching up with the bus, the young man with fury beats his fist into the glass of the bus stop. The fist is bleeding ...

I have the right to my version. If it turns out that I'm wrong, time will refute me.

Well, I'll start from the beginning.

Until now, the tightened spiral of violence fell from the assassination of General Suleymani (incidentally, the United States and Iran are not at war) on January 3 and began to spin wildly on its own.

You know, of course, that several million Iranians came to say goodbye to the body of the general (yes, several million, or some media outlets wrote dishonestly about hundreds) and that more than 50 people died in a crush, so the funeral had to be postponed. They waited, buried. As you can see, sacrifices arise by themselves. The victim makes sacrifices.

After shelling American bases, both sides made completely opposite statements.

Iranian sources: 80 US soldiers died.

Trump and the Pentagon: the U.S. military was not hurt.

I think neither one nor the other is telling the truth.

I think that the US military perished, but not 80 military, but about a dozen people.

But the United States insists that they had no casualties at all. After all, for even if one US military army died, the United States will have to answer Tehran. The United States does not particularly want a war with such a powerful and fanatical (albeit regional) power like Iran.

But Iranian leaders need to quench the anger of their compatriots, who came to the United States with such fury and anger at the funeral of their hero, who was killed by the United States, because for the Iranians (for domestic consumption), 80 or more were killed by the American military.

Moreover, in Iran recently there have been anti-government riots, the death of General Suleymani suddenly rallied the nation.

Trump was probably explained to people he trusts that he went too far. No wonder he backed away and already in a conciliatory tone the night before from 7th to 8th wrote on his Twitter:

"All is well. Missiles fired from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Now an assessment of the victims and damage. ”

We all sat on needles in all countries of the world: to be a war or not to be? We also know that Trump has been acting gangster lately, and in Shiism the cult of sacrifice and sacrifice is extremely strong.

Here are the promised 17 hours for Trump to appeal to the nation. But only at 19:30 Moscow time, Trump speaks to the American people. And what does he say? By the way, he speaks rather briefly and not aggressively.

He stated that “the property of military bases was damaged, but no one was hurt. Iran ceded to us. However, we will do our best to stop the terrorists, and Iran is known in the world as a sponsor of terrorism. While I am in the office, Iran will not have nuclear weapons. ”

Trump has not announced any new military operations against Iran. Trump, however, announced new economic sanctions against Iran.

Iran? Iran will say so to its own, for domestic consumption, that 80 American troops or more are destroyed. Will continue to exaggerate his response to the death of a popular general.

Not everything, however, is as smooth as Trump imagined.

Do not extinguish such a flame immediately. Iran’s Special Representative to the UN has already said that Iran is not inclined to agree on anything with the United States, since Trump announced the introduction of new sanctions against Iran.

And the US European allies - Germany and Spain - are already withdrawing their troops from Iraq.

True, the American lads, having loaded their equipment and personnel in 40 trucks, left the territory of Syria. And drove into Iraq.

So the continuation is likely to follow soon.

“Well, at least there was no war!” - the layman is baptized. Well, at least it wasn’t ...
