Regarding what happened, Deputy Director of the General Department of Investigations for Research and Research Affairs, Colonel Mohammed Aqeel Al-Ahly, said that after the Dubai Police found the precious hour, there was no report that details the loss of this watch, which necessitated the formation of a specialized team for research and investigation in this regard.
He added: After communicating and coordinating with many authorities, it was found that the watch was not purchased from stores inside the country, which necessitated intensifying investigation and research on the external level, which resulted in Dubai police being able to identify the owner of the watch and then communicating with it.
Colonel Al-Ahli continued, that the owner of the watch made it clear that she had not submitted a report about her loss due to the lack of certainty of the place she lost the watch to, whether it was in Dubai or in the city of Moscow, which surprised her that Dubai police initiated a search for the identity of the owner of the watch and returned it to her.
Colonel Al-Ahly emphasized that the Dubai Police General Command is keen to restore rights to their owners and work to delight the community of visitors and tourists, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and to achieve the strategic objectives of Dubai Police.
