The young people of the Z generation (born between the late 90s and the early 2000s) are ahead of their predecessors, those of the Y (arrived in the world between 1980 and 1990), in the sexual field, as revealed in the Barometer "Young people and sex" prepared by CONTROL.

What is told in this report? The first thing is that there are things that do not change. The bed is still the favorite location to practice sex by millennials and about 75% of young people of the postmillenic generation .

Generation after generation, some taboos go extinct and sex is treated more and more openly.

In this sense, although the missionary and the 'puppy' remain among the most practiced positions , there are some generational differences.

The classic missionary is the favorite of 40.3% of millennials and remains in the lead as the most conservative position of young people today (36% practice it).

However, the percentage of postmillenics who opt for the 'puppy' doubles that of millennials: 29% versus 14.9%.

For postmilénicos, fantasies are to be fulfilled: 10% of them have already materialized that trio with which they dream more than half of their 'older brothers'.

SEX 2.0

Although the protagonists of the beginning of the digitalization were millennials, 55.5% of respondents admit that social networks increased their chances of having sex. Even so, 70% still prefer nightclubs and bars to flirt.

Although 22.8% of the members of the Z generation continue to choose nightclubs as a source for their conquests , half admit that they turn to the Internet to find out about sexual positions. 40.9% say they have had relationships with someone they have met on the web and up to 35% admit to having practiced cybersex.

PRESERVATIVE

The condom is the most used method: 50% of millennials and 62% of the Z generation. However, in recent years a slight decrease in its use has been detected. For this reason, it is still necessary to raise awareness about the importance of its use.

Now you know who is fulfilling your sexual fantasies. How are you doing with yours?
