Among the major airlines, those carrying more than 30 million passengers per year, Air France is the 7th most punctual company in the world. This is revealed by the "Punctuality League 2020" ranking published by the Official Aviation Guide (OAG), reports Air Journal .

Air France has made considerable progress in terms of punctuality in one year: the company was only in 13th place in 2018. In this classification, a flight is considered punctual when it leaves or arrives within fifteen minutes by compared to the scheduled time.

Roissy-Charles de Gaulle more and more punctual

In 2019, 79.92% of Air France flights were punctual, compared to 74.11% in 2018. At the top of this ranking is the Chilean company LATAM, with a punctuality rate of 86.41% in 2019. Then come the Russian company Aeroflot (86.30%) then the Japanese company All Nippon Airways (85.92%).

The OAG also classifies the largest airports in the world according to their punctuality. This year, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle appears in the ranking in 20th place, with 73.67% of punctual flights. The most punctual airport is Moscow-Sheremetyevo (Russia) with a rate of 86.87%, followed by that of Tokyo Haneda (86.60%) and Singapore Changi (84.03%).
