An American from Kentucky picked up 4 of his neighbors' dogs for a coat and local police charged him with torturing animals.

A neighbor of Jonathan de Watkins, 38, had reported the matter to the authorities, after the defendant came to his house to ask for something from him and the blood was staining his clothes. When he asked him about the reason, he told him that he was skinning the dogs.

But the neighbor did not believe him at first, as he had a mental illness in the past, but after hours the neighbor saw what appeared to be leather and carcasses in front of the front porch of the accused's house.

The neighbor told the police that he lost two dogs and it is believed that another neighbor also lost two other dogs.

After receiving the report, a police officer found Watkins at his house with a knife and no blood on his clothes.

When the policeman asked him where the blood came from, Watkins answered, "I am making myself a dog coat."

Watkins informed the policeman that he had stabbed and skinned the dogs.

He ordered the court to detain him without bail, and to conduct a psychological examination.
