Star Wars: Episode I - The Dark Threat (1999)

As most people already know, The Dark Threat is the fourth film, but the first in the chronological order of the film story and thus the first film in the prequel trilogy. Here the young Anakin Skywalker is introduced.

Star Wars: Episode II - The Clones Attack (2002)

The clones attack takes place ten years after the Dark Threat. Here is the occasional burgeoning love of backlight between Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala. But for the most part, it is chaos and strife.

The Galactic Republic is more or less pouring.

Star Wars: Episode III - Dark Revenge (2005)

The last movie in the prequel trilogy takes place three years after episode II. Anakin Skywalker begins to lose grip on what is good and evil, and after a violent battle with his former, Obi-Wan Kenobi kicked off with various body parts. He gets together, gets a respirator and a helmet ...

At the same time, the twins Luke and Leia are born. But since Padme dies, the twin pair splits on widely different planets: Tatooine and Alderaan.

(The Galactic Republic falls and Space Empire is founded)

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

The movie about Han Solo's adventures is one of the two spy sacrifices that have come so far. Solo: A Star Wars story takes place about 10 years before Episode IV, depicting, among other things, the first tough steps toward Han Solo and Chewbacca's friendship.

Rouge One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Like Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rouge one breaks in between Episode III and IV. The difference from Solo, however, is that this movie takes place completely outside the regular movie story.

The film takes place 19 years after the Revenge of the Darkness and shortly after the New Hope, and here the Rebel Alliance, the resistance movement to the Space Empire, is faced with trying to steal the Empire's drawings for the Death Star.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)

The year is 1977 and the Star Wars, which is later renamed Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, has its premiere. So this is the first movie, but the fourth in the chronological order of the movie story (not including spin off stories).

It has been 19 years since Episode III and Princess Leia (born in the 3rd) has the stolen drawings for the Death Star (which is stolen by the rebels in Rouge one).

Star Wars: Episode V - Space Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Space Empire Strikes Back takes place three years after the Star Wars. The Rebels are chased by the Space Empire and Luke Skywalker hangs with the Jedi Master Yoda on the swamp planet Dagobah.

Later, for the first time, he meets Darth Vader in a candlestick duel where their kinship is discovered, and where Luke Skywalker unfortunately loses an arm.

Star Wars: Episode VI - Jedin's Return (1983)

Last movie in original trilogy. Luke Skywalker is finished with his education, Yoda dies of old age but has time to confirm just before: Darth Vader IS Luke Skywalker's father. Obi-wan Kenobi's ghost shows up and reveals: Leia IS Luke Skywalker's twin sister.

Luke tries to get his father to turn to the good side, but it becomes all the more difficult because Vader and Emperor Palpatine / Darth Sidious are convinced to turn Luke into the evil one instead. A fight ensues, Vader switches sides but gets mortally injured - Luke for the first time sees his father in the eye. The Rebels blast the Death Star.

Here it could have ended the movie story of the distant galaxy.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)

30 years after Jedin's return - the evil and the hunt for it remains. The space empire may have fallen, but the first order has emerged from the ashes. The resistance movement is led by the aging Leia who, together with Han Solo, got his son Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) - but who, like his grandfather, unfortunately, has devoted himself to the dark forces.

In the first movie in the sequel trilogy, Luke Skywalker has disappeared, the young garbage collector Rey of yet unknown origin exhibits incomparable power and the former stormtrooper Finn throws his helmet to fanders.

Star Wars: VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)

Luke Skywalker, who has been found hanging around on a barren island, reluctantly begins to train Rey in the art of dealing with the force and the war against The first order continues. Kylo Ren continues in his grandfather's footsteps and has now been upgraded to malicious ruler of the galaxy.

Actors Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford.

Star Wars: IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

What is to come in the final part of this 42-year-old movie history is very unclear. However, questions about Rey's identity must be clarified. In November, one of the actors accidentally dropped the top secret script and it ended up on Ebay. Despite this, very little about the film has leaked - and the actors are covered with strict prohibition on opinion.

"Not even my mom knows anything, she asked if it ends with Rey dying, but I haven't told you anything," Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, told TT earlier.
