Long awaited, episode 9 of the saga "Star Wars", "The ascent of Skywalker", will be released in theaters on December 18 in France. After two years of waiting, this section will end the adventure of the famous Jedi. For this ultimate installment, Disney and the production company of Georges Lucas, Lucasfilm, once again called on JJ Abrams, to whom we owe in particular "Le Réveil de la Force" (episode VII).
"It ends in a thrilling, shocking, funny, moving and satisfying way", underlines the director in a video retracing the beginnings of the saga. If as at each film release, the actors are required to disclose nothing, the actress Daisy Ridley who plays Rey however indicated in an interview with the American media Entertainment Weekly, that the episode would be "very dark, sad, scary and ... happy".
"High stakes"
"The stakes [of the film] are cosmically high. Sources close to the production have confided that 'The Ascension of Skywalker' will bring to a climax the millennial conflict between the Jedi Order and the Dark Side of the Sith", underlines de Vanity Fair magazine. Finally, new characters will enter the saga.
Between the trailers and the various promotional images, fans have already discovered Zorri Bliss (Keri Russell), a bounty hunter from the snowy planet Kijimi, but also Jannah (Naomi Ackie), head of a group of warriors ready to fight the forces of the First Order, or Babu Frik, an alien able to "reprogram or modify practically any droid", according to its official description.
