Tomei Expressway Ebina SA Ceiling Panel Falling One Woman Injured Kanagawa December 12, 12:36
On the morning of the 12th, a ceiling panel fell in the Ebina service area of the Tomei Expressway in Kanagawa Prefecture, and a woman was slightly injured.
According to Nexco Central Japan, at around 9:30 am on the 12th, in the Ebina Service Area on the Tomei Expressway in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the panel dropped from the ceiling of the building where restaurants and other facilities were placed and hung nearby. I was a woman in her 70s.
What fell was one panel approximately 90 cm square, and the woman was slightly injured.
According to the police, the work on the ceiling was being repaired from the night of the 11th to about 5am on the 12th, and the panel seems to have fallen from the place where the work was completed.
The police are investigating the details of the situation by listening to the workers.
