A trial of a former employee charged with stealing 360 million yen in cash from a security company safe in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture has begun, and the former employee has admitted the charges.
Former employee of a security company in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture, defendant Takuteru Ito (28) has been charged with stealing 360 million yen in cash from his bank in September.
On the 11th, the first trial was held in the Saitama District Court, and Ito admitted what was prosecuted saying "no mistake".
Subsequently, the prosecutor stated in the opening statement, “Defendants moved to a department that manages cash, and began to think that they wanted to quit their work from around February. And he put the cash in a cardboard box prepared in advance and sent it to the PO box, ”he explained.
The trial will be concluded on the 26th of this month, and the judgment will be handed down on the 10th of next month.
