The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah issued a decision regarding advertising and promoting events, services or government and semi-government products in the emirate through pioneers and activists of social media.
And the decision issued by the Council during its session today (Tuesday), headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council of Sharjah, required the approval of the media office of the Government of Sharjah when contracting with the communication rod.
The decision stated, according to what was reported by "WAM" that "all governmental, semi-governmental and central government agencies and companies that the government contributes to or wholly owns or the private companies contracting with the government within the scope of the contract must obtain the approval of the media office of the Sharjah government to contract with or without pay with any of the Pioneers and personalities of social media regarding any of its activities, services or products, provided that the media office of the Sharjah government issues the administrative decisions necessary to implement the provisions of the decision.
