Bulgarian actress Stoyanka Motafova, one of the world's oldest actresses, died at the age of 97, and Motavova became famous as the Queen of Bulgarian Comedy, and started acting in 1945, when she played a maid in the play "Skypin tricks" of Moliere.

She became famous in Bulgaria after participating in several comedies and TV entertainment programs, and toured the theaters of America and Europe at the age of 94, and Motafova is believed to be the oldest actress in the world after the death of Russian actor Vladimir Zelden in 2016 at the age of 101.

Motavova remained in acting until months before her death, and she won a number of awards over the course of her long journey.

"I left a very good human being, she was always one of the symbols of the Bulgarian theater," Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said yesterday, speaking of the late actress.
