Yesterday, Russian Prime Minister and ex-President Dmitry Medvedev gave a traditional press conference to 20 Russian television channels. By tradition, the Prime Minister in December, on the eve of the final big press conference of the President of Russia, sums up the results of the country's socio-economic development and the work of the government for the year.

This time, representatives of 20 digital TV channels that are part of multiflex1 and multiflex2 spoke to the Prime Minister and the chairman of the ruling party: Channel One, Russia 1, Russia 24, Russia K, Carousel, Match TV ", NTV, OTR, Channel Five," TV Center "," Home "," Star "," World "," Muz-TV "," Friday ", REN TV," Spas ", STS," TV-3 ", TNT.

One of the short stories approaching the end of 2019 is the transition of the whole country to digital television. Literally, a number has come to every home. This, of course, is another quality of television and the opportunity to use new technologies across the country. Another quality of life. And this is also a long-standing undertaking of the premiere. Today is reality.

There are many questions. For obvious reasons, the main economic topics are: salaries, incomes, taxes, etc. What should be asked first of all from the chairman of the government. Of course, in today's time, not the easiest to manage the largest country in the world, there are a lot of unpleasant questions for the government. Real incomes are falling, although salaries are growing slightly. Real costs are growing even faster. The Prime Minister answered confidently and clearly to uncomfortable questions.

The reality is that under external sanction pressure, according to all the precepts of Adam Smith and the laws of grinning capitalism, everything should have been much worse.

However, the government managed to stabilize economic growth this year. Heading a government at such a time is not easy. For me, Medvedev is coping.

When you again want to insist on DAM in social networks and like to approach from your native couch to the chairman of the Russian government, go and look in your refrigerator. Not empty after all.

Naturally, a lot of criticism, a lot of sofa expertise and trolling. But it’s Medvedev who spent the Internet in every school. And we, by the way, have the cheapest and most affordable high-speed 4G in the world. Evil languages speak, they say, through the Internet all the troubles of the neighbors. At least the Ukrainian example of mobilization of the "Maidan" and others. And I think that the trouble is not in technology. Technology in good hands only strengthens the country and society. This is a question of responsibility, integrity and, of course, tight control.

They also spoke about the investment adventures of the leading domestic search network system. As well as the fact that no one is going to disconnect anything from us, of course. And that if the "Western Sinister" has not yet disconnected the Internet for us, it is only thanks to the measures that the government took on time.

By the way, the question about Ukraine was also raised. Medvedev is close to the Ukrainian topic, he began his career as the head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation with oversight of the presidential elections of neighbors in 2004.

Then it was generally difficult to imagine that everything would come to where it came today. But then President Kuchma already “shed oil” ... issued a millionth edition of the author’s book with the title-spell-formula: “Ukraine is not Russia”.

So, answering a question from journalists about the new president of Ukraine, Medvedev noted: “It is obvious that Zelensky wants to agree on key issues of his country's interaction with other countries, and in particular with Russia. The question is whether he will succeed. ” In general, Medvedev is underlined by correct attitude towards Ukraine, no matter what. Such a samurai calm and confident optimism. Like, everything will be fine.

Separately, the painful issue of internal protest activity in the past year and the inevitable costs from it were raised both for society, and for the state, and for the Protestants themselves. “You can express your opinion - this is absolutely normal. But you need to declare your opinion in the manner prescribed by the current rules. The law must be respected, otherwise we can get to very dangerous situations, which in our country can even turn into a bad problem, ”Medvedev said.

Naturally, in such a difficult time for the country, such activity only adds to the problems. It seems that an external attack on our economy and the support and stimulation of such protest activity from the same place are part of the same plan. At the same time, we live in the freest country, where everyone has the right to express his political opinion and position in the forms established by law.

Separately, the topic of nostalgia for the Soviet past went through the red line in an interview with the prime minister. Today it is really fashionable among young people to remember with kind words the beautiful and great Soviet country. But few young people imagine how their peers actually lived then. Medvedev sarcastically remarked that a modern hipster would not have survived then. Here I’m ready to argue with Dmitry Anatolyevich. I would survive. Of course, everything was different, but we are all the same, and that's why we still have the largest country in the world. As for the experience of many social practices from the USSR, it can very well be used today. What the chairman of the government also mentioned.

In any case, based on the foundation of the past, we all go forward together. A year has passed, the 20th comes. What they will be up to us to decide.
