Four years ago, the Tokyo High Court in the second trial canceled the death sentence against the Peruvian defendants who were sentenced to death in the first trial for invading houses one after another in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, and killing six people. I was sentenced to imprisonment. In the trial, the defense had innocently claimed that the effects of schizophrenia were large and lacked accountability.
