Invited in the program "Culture-Media", Wednesday, on Europe 1, the comedian presented his first one-man-show. A show in which he hopes to give an image a little different from that built over the years on television or radio.

INTERVIEW

Cartman goes on stage for the first time solo. Until 4 January, the actor performs on the stage of the theater Treviso in Paris, for his one-man-show entitled One . After several years of laughter on TF1 TV channels, especially in Friday everything is allowed , the former radio host ventures alone on stage. In Media Culture on Europe 1, he explains why he decided to take the plunge.

From the microphone of radios to the theater

"We still have to kick the back to get on the stage, it's like parachute jump," says Cartman at the microphone of Europe 1. After several years on television, the comedian has finally decided to climb on the boards. Whether with Cauet or in the music, concealed behind the nickname of Sébastien Patoche, Cartman chained the interventions on the radio and on the TV sets. Today is another image that he wants to deliver to the public. "I want people to come meet Cartman and leave again having met Nicolas Bonaventure [his real name, ed]," he says.

"A 40-year-old man who looks a little behind"

In One , Cartman abandons the disguises and characters to talk about him. "My adolescence and my experience on radio and television," details the comedian. It is by testing bits of skits that he found the right formula. "My show was built around an idea: a 40-year-old man who looks back a little, about his life," describes Cartman. In addition to the dates in Paris, the comedian will be touring all over France with this show.
