A streetcar decorated with leases was operated in Okayama City from the 3rd, and the children enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere quickly.
This tram, named "Christmas train", runs on the route that runs through the center of Okayama city every December.
A green wreath with a diameter of about 60 cm is attached to the front of the vehicle, and the interior is decorated with colorful bells and Santa Claus dolls.
On the first day of operation, 19 local nursery school children were invited and boarded. When the train departed, employees of Santa Claus were presented with an assortment of sweets one by one, and everyone enjoyed a quick Christmas mood by singing “Awatenbo no Santa Claus”.
The 5-year-old girl said, “The decoration was very beautiful. I was happy to receive a lot of sweets.”
The Christmas train will run 5 times a day until 25th of this month.
