Guest of the program Culture Médias Monday morning, the singer, author, and composer Sanseverino came to present his new project Sanseverino & Tangomotán with which he is currently on tour.

Victory of the music in 2003, Sanseverino became known with the tube "The bottlenecks". If he has touched all styles of music, blues to swing, passing by jazz and honky tonk, the singer returns with a tango album, Sanseverino & Tangomotán.

An album two years after the meeting between Sanseverino and Tangomotán

At the origin of this collaboration, the curiosity of Sanseverino who remembers: "I look on the Internet a tango group called Tangomotán and I find it fabulous I send them a message and almost 30 seconds after they answer me and invite me to a concert. "

Sanseverino will see them play and the musicians exchange. "We think it would be nice to do something together and almost two years later, we start an album we compose together." On stage then, the group of young people with a piano, a violin, a double bass and a bandoneon, Sanseverino with his electric guitar and the drummer Stéphane Huchard.

"I listened to lots of tango because of François Béranger"

"I am a fan of tango," enthuses the singer. "François Béranger was a fan of tango too, and I listened to lots of tango because of him!"

In parallel, Sanseverino is also on tour with the songs of François Béranger. "I do a tour alone in tribute to the singer of the 70s / 80s, sometimes there is a director on the festivals but otherwise I take the train and my two guitars", explains the 58 year old musician who adds: "that gives cool stuff, I meet people more easily.
