Last spring it became known that the Swedish Academy has appointed a number of external experts with the aim of helping to appoint the Nobel laureates in literature. One of these is the author Kristoffer Leandoer - who is now leaving his assignment.

This is because the change work started around the Swedish Academy and the Nobel Committee is going too slowly, he writes in a statement at Svenska Dagbladet:

“I leave my job to the Nobel Committee because I have neither the patience nor the time to wait for the result of the change work that has been started: . "
