Rapper, violinist and folk lover: how was the second part of the stage of fights on the show "Voice"

On Friday, November 29, the next issue of the Voice project, which completed the stage of fights, was aired. The second part of the vocal duels was started by Stanislav Moshkin and Ildar Abdullin from the team of Sergei Shnurov. The mentor decided to use their example to show the rivalry of “two real baboons” and chose the composition of his colleague in the jury Konstantin Meladze “Sir” for this.

“Two ghouls come out and simply with their teeth and claws tear apart what you thought of yourself in your underpants and slippers,” presenter Dmitry Nagiyev expressed his hunch about the impressions of Konstantin Meladze.

Meladze noted that the presenter got to the point (the song was really written in the chamber atmosphere of the hostel), and added that the number in the production of Shnurov increased his self-esteem. And only Valery Syutkin felt in the presented number "pinch" and too much. Ildar Abdullin continued to participate in the competition.

Polina Gagarina presented her vision of the song Imagine Dragons - Believer. The classical sound specialist Rinat Albikova, a mentor, contrasted the original Anastasia Markova with her “sandy” timbre.

During the performance of the duet, an emergency occurred - the ring of Anastasia Markova, as Dmitry Nagiev jokingly said, flew into the sixth row. Valery Syutkin called the number “an aria of contemporary art”, and Konstantin Meladze emphasized that Polina Gagarina masterly adapted the composition for each performer.

It seemed to Sergei Shnurov that the material was poorly mastered by the contestants. He considered Albikov to be especially unconvincing, who, by the decision of Polina Gagarina, dropped out of the competition.

Victoria Karachun and Arsen Mukendi earned praise from their mentors even before they began to sing: everyone liked the images with ethnic motifs that the participants chose to play the hit “Talk with Happiness” (“Suddenly, like in a fairy tale, the door creaked ...”) from Leonid Gaidai’s classic comedy “Ivan Vasilievich Changes the Profession”.

Konstantin Meladze emphasized that Valery Syutkin, who made his debut in the jury this year, brought his own interesting vision and humor to the project. Sergei Shnurov called the colleague’s innovation a paralyzing weapon: "The level of absurdity that we observed here is not subject to anyone." Polina Gagarina emphasized that the Congolese Arsen Mukendi sang with a clear Russian flavor - he continued to participate in the project.

Inna Sayadyan and Asker Berbekov from the Meladze team performed the song Diana Ross When You Tell Me That You Love Me. “A classic Hollywood duet in the best traditions,” commented Polina Gagarina. “This is not a duel, it’s, of course, a duet,” the mentor emphasized, saying that the voices of the contestants are very well combined. However, only Asker Berbekov could continue to participate in the project.

Valery Syutkin set himself the task of choosing one of two similar vocalists - Yegor Muskat and Daniil Danilevsky. The mentor checked the voices and nerves of the wards with the help of his own song “Road to the Clouds”.

Polina Gagarina called the musicians “a ready-made boy duet,” Sergei Shnurov traditionally hinted at Syutkin’s age, and Meladze considered that the song and the contemporary appearance of the singers are inorganic. Yegor Muskat will participate in the knockout stage.

Milan Rakhmanova and Anton Tokarev, their mentor Sergei Shnurov, proposed to make the composition Survivor. As in blind auditions, Tokarev also performed an instrumental part - this time on a violin.

Gagarina admitted that Anton and Milan are her “favorites” in the Shnurov team and expressed regret that the mentor will part with one of the participants. Sergei Shnurov noted that the musicians managed to convey the "feeling of an approaching and expanding abyss", which he laid in the room. Tokarev went to the knockout stage.

Polina Gagarina formed a duet of the youngest members of her team - 19-year-old Felix Kotlo and 17-year-old Alana Chochieva. They performed the original version of the song "Love Me, Love." The speech was reminded by a sermon to Sergei Shnurov, but the musician noted that the participants still did not convert him to their faith.

“My dear kids, forget everything that Uncle Seryozha said,” Polina Gagarina stood up for the wards. Konstantin Meladze compared the number with an excerpt from the musical and emphasized that the performance is adequate to the age of the contestants. Participation in the show continued Alan Chochiev.

Renata Shtifel and Elizaveta Shaluba under the direction of Konstantin Meladze presented their version of the song Treat Her Like a Lady. Sergey Shnurov called the performance erotic in a good way, and Polina Gagarina recalled how she once sang this track herself.

Meladze admitted that he had arranged a “multifaceted battle”, which included not only a vocal duel, but also a “leg or bust” confrontation (due to the bold outfits of the vocalists). At the knockout stage, Elizabeth Shaluba will again appear on the stage.

Arseny Kurchanin and Maxim Subachev performed the rap song Old Town Road by Lil Nas X. Musician mentor Sergei Shnurov noted that the task was 80% complete: “As my tax inspector said, you can do more,” he said. Kurchanin passed to the stage of “knockouts”.

Iva Todorova and Nika Prokopyeva from the team of Polina Gagarina, according to Valery Syutkin, presented a convincing female reading of Leonid Agutin’s penalty “Airports”.

Konstantin Meladze noted the progress of both performers in comparison with blind auditions, and Sergei Shnurov urged the girls not to worry. “This is just Channel One,” the musician said ironically. Iva Todorova went to the knockout stage.

Daniil Korolev and Anastasia Badina performed with the Russian folk song “Saving”. If Korolev already performed ethnic composition at the previous stage, then Badina’s vocal talent was revealed from a new perspective. Mentor Konstantin Meladze, however, chose the more experienced folk singer Korolev.

The stage of fights ended with the performance of Anastasia Yust and Liana Meister. They sang the song Boney M - Never Change Lovers in the Middle of the Night. The jury called the number very festive. Anastasia Yust continued her path in the project.

As a result of the 24 past duels in each team, six participants remained.

Polina Gagarina took Ekaterina Steblina, Lily Veltman, Andrew Granzh, Anastasia Markova, Alana Chochiev and Yva Todorova to the next stage.

From the team of Serey Shnurov, Ragda Khanieva, Yves Nabiev, Irina Chuvakova, Ildar Abdullin, Anton Tokarev and Arseniy Kurchanin will continue their performances.

Also, Konstantin Meladze's wards will participate in the knockouts: Valery Mironov, Natalia Sidortsova, Svetlana Mamresheva, Asker Berbekov, Elizaveta Shaluba and Daniil Korolev.

The team of Syutkna will be represented by Tatyana Gayvoronskaya, Elimdar Seydosmanov, Nurzhigit Subankulov, Yegor Muskat, Arsen Mukendi and Anastasia Yust.
