His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 674 inmates of correctional and penal institutions in Dubai on the occasion of the 48th UAE National Day celebrations.

Counselor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Dubai Attorney General, noted that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's pardon for a number of inmates of correctional institutions in Dubai on religious and national occasions reflects His Highness's keenness to give these people a new opportunity to return to their families and families after reviewing the reasons. They have moved them from the right path, encouraging them to continue their lives on the basis of abiding by the law and moving away from the reasons that made them violate it, and to motivate them to set an example for others to respect the law and abide by its provisions that always remain the protective shield of society and the protective fence of its abilities.

Al Humaidan explained that the Public Prosecution immediately took the initiative to coordinate with the Dubai Police to take the necessary measures to implement the lofty order which comes in conjunction with the UAE celebration on the occasion of a precious patriotism reminiscent of the high values ​​upon which the Federation stated and established by its founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, At the forefront of which is the affirmation of the rule of law and respect for its provisions, so that it always remains a bulwark that preserves our society, ensures its security and safety, and enhances their chances of comfort and happiness.
