The initiator of the monument was the Russian Military Historical Society.
The monument to sculptor Yevgeny Burkov and architect Nestor Engelke will be installed on the Far Eastern Avenue near the cultural and educational center at the Granin Library.
On November 12, the conference "Daniil Granin: Life, Creativity, and Service" was held in St. Petersburg on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the writer.
