It was at the beginning of October that the Cultural News could tell that the popular pod Swedish murder stories plagiarized and read aloud from Swedish news articles and blogs, and presented it as their own material.

Sharp criticism was directed at the pod's creator Sebastian Krantz, who announced shortly after the review that parts of the pod's publication would be unpublished for plagiarism control.

"We have to look through every section and simply do the right thing for ourselves," Sebastian Krantz told the Culture News in connection with this.

Just over two months later, a total of 129 pod sections - including the entire issue of Swedish murder histories between 2016 and 2018 - have now been deleted. All in all, Swedish murder stories have made 174 episodes since the start, of which the majority are now deleted.

Receives harsh criticism from relatives

One of the 129 episodes removed is the episode as if the murders of two young children in Arboga 2008. The cultural news has previously talked to the mother of the children, Emma Jangestig, who was deeply critical of the Swedish murder story's publication when the family was not informed that a pod section on the case has been ongoing - or asked for permission.

- It's awful. We have already gone through the worst that can happen. Who are the ones who get it right? ”Emma Jangestig said then.

All in all, the Cultural News has spoken to five victims' families, whose cases have been taken up by Swedish murder stories. All of them believe that the programs are made unethical, and are critical to how the relatives are treated by the podiatrists. Sebastian Krantz declined to comment on the criticism.

The cultural news has in vain sought Sebastian Krantz for a comment on the deleted sections and criticism from families who feel they have been badly off the podcast's publications.
