“In Paris, an auction was held to sell Kolchak’s unique archive, in which the director of the House of Russian Abroad Viktor Moskvin took part. At the expense of patrons, the overwhelming majority of lots were bought out, ”the press service of the Moscow Museum said.

Part of the documents will also be stored in Russian private collections.

Among the documents purchased at the auction are Kolchak’s correspondence with his wife, as well as materials on the history of the Russian fleet at the turn of the XIX – XX centuries and part of the family archive of famous naval commanders of Russia.
