The State Duma in the third reading adopted the law on the mandatory pre-installation of Russian software on smartphones, laptops and smart TVs.

Smartphones, and iPhones in particular, have long been not only a way of communication, but also a mandatory attribute of a modern person. For young people, this is something trendy, trendy, which allows you to stay in touch and in the subject.

For those who are older, this is a way of referring themselves to a certain circle of people. A telephone is an accessory, which sometimes can be more expensive than accessories of the more usual ones - watches, jewelry, bags.

Phone, laptop - these are really carriers of everything and everything. The only entry point into our brain is our thoughts. Gadgets are the only thing we cannot do without a minute. Well then, why be surprised that they are trying to regulate this very thing by all means. Here, in contrast to the situation when they try to regulate the Internet, the enemy is quite material, physically realized. With Internet locks, you have to deal with thousands of addresses, thousands of applications, and here - just one single gadget.

There are also advantages in that the equipment will not be sold without authorized applications and Russian software. For example, grandparents will immediately have some Odnoklassniki and Sberbank on their gadgets - which is bad. High school students and others - their “VKontakte”. Probably, Yandex.Music of some kind will also go here. And instead of Siri, there is already our domestic Alice. Great! We will not return to the splint and bast shoes.

You would be better upset if the Russian authorities ordered all manufacturers to preinstall our software on all gadgets in all countries of the world if they want to be sold on the territory of the Russian Federation. Then, yes, it would have been possible. But so far, everything is quite friendly and even justified.

I understand the cries and the indignant screams that "well, now everything will be controlled by Uncle Major and merge into one large base." But it’s naive enough to believe that you are not under the hood now. Each of us leaves an incredible mark on the network every day. And with certain skills, all your activity can already be tracked.

Here, rather, the question is already of your conscious Internet consumption. In the end, living the truth - they will not find anything.

By the way, this is logical - such a defense of the Russians. Or have you forgotten Zuckerberg’s testimony that Facebook collects everything and everything about you and passes it on? Well now the situation will be different. That is, Facebook, of course, will not go anywhere. I also have little faith that sales of iPhones and laptops will somehow fall sharply, rather, on the contrary, they will increase exactly before the law enters into force. That is, purely for us, little will change.

By the way, this can have a good effect on the IT market - developers now have something to fight for. Competition will increase, which means that quality should now grow within the entire segment.

In general, this whole initiative shows only one thing. If there is a way to regulate what is controlled by another state, you need to use it. Otherwise, you can finally lose at least some leverage.
