Asahi Ryokan Hotel in the coastal city of Fukuoka, the capital of Kyushu Island, offers accommodation for 100 yen (about $ 1) per night provided you agree to air all of your stay.

The goal, according to hotel owner Eno, is to promote the hotel, increase its competitiveness in this southern Japanese tourist city, and generate revenue by transmitting guest experiences on a YouTube channel devoted to the transmission of broadcasts.

The owner of the hotel came up with the idea when he was visited by a YouTube star and aired his stay for his followers on the air. Inou saw that he could follow the same idea.

Eno explained to CNN that the live broadcast of room number 8 is limited only to video (except for the bathroom).

The owner believes that the idea has succeeded in attracting many guests who have agreed to this requirement, especially young people who say they do not care much about the issue of privacy.

He points out that he can earn money through advertising after reaching 4,000 subscribers.
