According to him, she cares that the artists are removed from their roles and are deprived of allowances.

Spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov confirmed the fact of the conversation to the agency. He noted that the topic was addressed, calling it a matter of the Ministry of Culture.

Earlier, a number of artists signed an open letter addressed to the head of state. They criticized the work of the new Moscow Art Theater Eduard Boyakov.

In turn, the management and theater artists in their replies to this message supported Boyakov and asked "to protect the Moscow Art Theater from an aggressive campaign of slander."

The Ministry of Culture stated that they were monitoring the situation.
