Abu Dhabi Police has set the rules for decorating vehicles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the celebration of the "48th National Day of the State" as part of a comprehensive plan to provide traffic safety, while setting a deadline to allow the decoration of vehicles starting from November 25 to December 6 next, which contributes to providing Maximum traffic safety during celebrations.
It stated that it will implement strict control through the smart system, radars and traffic patrols in various roads and tunnels in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra to monitor any violation of the Traffic and Traffic Law and celebration controls and the application of Article No. / 1 / of the Traffic and Traffic Law, which is driving the vehicle in a way that poses a danger or race on the road. Brigadier Mohammed Dahi Al Humairi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at the Central Operations Sector, stressed the interest of Abu Dhabi Police to work to highlight the celebrations of the National Day in a manner that is in line with the spirit of the Union, to ensure the joy of this cherished national occasion in a civilized manner without committing any violations.
He urged drivers to abide by the traffic and traffic laws, celebrate the rules, and cooperate with traffic men in the places where the celebrations are held in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for their safety, pointing out that the Abu Dhabi Police is keen to publish the instructions for the celebrations through all media and social networking sites.
The requirements to be followed in order to participate in the “Traffic by Vehicles” activity include obtaining a permit from the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols. It is strictly forbidden to hold marches except the official march for whatever reason, while stressing the need to abide by traffic rules.
According to the rules of celebration, it is allowed to write national expressions on the vehicle that do not prejudice the modesty of others and to install the national flag at any location on the vehicle, provided that it does not endanger the safety of the driver of the vehicle or others.It is also allowed to put stickers on the sides of the vehicle and to paint the side of the vehicle.
