Young or old, traditional or digital, some try to start their small business or startup in the media world. A new space could change the game: Tank Media. A unique and innovative place dedicated to the future of the media, based in Paris in the 11th arrondissement.
"When you go out of journalism school, you have never been trained to be a media boss"
The Tank Media has been in existence for 18 months, but this week it is moving into new premises. The official inauguration, with Louis Dreyfus, President of the Executive Board of the World , will take place Thursday. Mathieu Maire du Poset, co-founder of Tank Media, started from the observation that a new generation wanted to create media with a different breath. "But this generation sometimes lacked entrepreneurial know-how," says the journalist in Culture Media . "When you go out of journalism school, you have never been trained to be media boss or entrepreneur," he recalls.

This new venue has a co-working space, audio and video studios, and offers training on tomorrow's media and events. A way to pool production resources and reduce costs for those who enter the media market. "We thought we had to support this generation, give them keys and know-how to build new media", explains Mathieu Mayor Poset.
Elisabeth Roman, former editor-in-chief of Sciences et vie Junior , is one of the first to have integrated the site. She edited Tchika magazine, the first feminist newspaper for children ages 7 to 10. "The Media Tank is the ideal place for a media launch," she says. The journalist also emphasizes the importance of being connected to other young media, to exchange and to advise.
The Media Tank always welcomes new candidates. "There are still forty positions available," announces Mathieu Mayor Poset.
