What is happening in Bolivia is being pushed into a vegetarian “political crisis”. But let's call a spade a spade: in Bolivia, not a crisis, but the beginning of a civil war. During the coup, an ultra-right junta led by racist Jeanine Agnes came to power, who issued a personal order to brutally suppress any signs of dissent and removed from the security forces any responsibility for violence and killings. As a result, we have more than 20 dead and thousands wounded. So the junta welcomed the Bolivian people.

The brutal reprisals on the streets of Sucre caused a rash even in the UN. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet issued a statement calling for stopping the repressive machine.

“I am extremely concerned that the situation in Bolivia could get out of hand if the authorities do not act carefully, observing international norms and standards in the field of the use of force, and fully respecting human rights. A split occurred in the country, and people on both sides of the political confrontation were extremely angry. If the authorities act in a repressive manner in this situation, then this anger will only intensify, and the opportunities to come to a dialogue may be in jeopardy, ”she said.

If you think that Janine Agnes reacted to this statement, then nothing of the kind. Moreover, mass arrests of poor Indians began in the country, which constitute the backbone of the people's militia. In turn, neo-Nazis do not hide at all and even flaunt the victory over Morales, congratulating each other with a Nazi salute. Yes, of course, they succeeded in the right-wing coup - they were supported by the “best people” of the planet: the overweight, vulgar Mike Pompeo and the Brazilian right-wing president Bolsonaru.

Talk that there were objective reasons for the coup is part of imperialist propaganda. It is enough to recall how the government of Nicholas Maduro or Recep Tayyip Erdogan was demonized. The most eloquent example of information dehumanization is Muammar Gaddafi, who in a matter of months has turned from an extravagant leader of Libya into a distraught bloody dictator who is not "sorry."

By the way, at the BRICS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin bluntly said: the situation resembles Libya.

“Although there is no direct armed invasion from outside, the country is actually on the verge of chaos. This, of course, is an alarming signal, ”the head of the Russian state noted.

Indeed: NATO military aircraft did not fly over Bolivia - it was brought down from the inside by bribing the armed forces and special services, and then they left the security forces to finish off any manifestation of dissent. To drive, as Agnes put it, Indian savages into the mountains. "Savages" simply did not appreciate their happiness. Well, what do you get from them, right? In any case, the world community (well, not us, but what kind of human rights) sits silently and gives no signs of life. And on the streets of Sucre is already a civil war.

Some time ago, Eduard Limonov wrote the column “Many Vietnamese”, where he accurately diagnosed what is happening in Latin America: the left forces in Latin America are fighting the right. And Bolivia - not even Venezuela - became the center of this war, the break point of the whole continent.

Today, the overthrown Evo Morales (and he was overthrown!) Can pull out a historical ticket - to become the commandant of the South American struggle against neocolonialism. In the meantime, we are witnessing a civil confrontation with a predictable bloody outcome.
