The release of the eighth season of the Voice show on November 15 was marked by the fact that it summed up the stage of blind listening to a vocal project. The concert turned out to be difficult not only for the participants, but also for the mentors: after all, those whose teams were already staffed could not invite some very promising contestants.

The first was Ukrainian Anastasia Markova (Shane Lee), who attributes the power of her personality and her voice to bizarre glasses. She performed the song It's a Man's Man's Man's World, beloved by many participants in different seasons of the show.

From the first notes, the performance was approved by Polina Gagarina and Sergey Shnurov, later other mentors joined them. Markova, without much thought, chose to join the team of Gagarina.

The song “Train to Leningrad” provided Yegor Muskat with a place in the team of Valery Syutkin. Commenting on this decision, Shnurov suggested that the mentor pressed the button "for nostalgic reasons." It turned out, however, that the singer prefers airplanes.

Syutkin also noted that Muscat's voice has charm, and this is very important for the artist. Valery Meladze was skeptical of the performance, however, he noted that the contestant is allowed to sing even worse.

Sergei Shnurov and Valery Syutkin so wanted to see Lily Veltman in the team of Polina Gagarina who performed the song “You Are Dreaming of Me”, that they pressed the button for her, but later turned on their own (Meladze joined them).

Gagarina admitted that she was forced only at first, and in the end she liked the Veltman number. “A boundless voice. Fiction ”- commented on the performance of the singer. As a result, Veltman went to Gagarina’s team.

The foreign guest of the project, Andrew Grunge, a singer of Jamaican descent from Toronto (Canada), could not conquer only Konstantin Meladze with a song by Stevie Wonder Overjoyed. He also became a member of the team of Polina Gagarina. “Before I came here, I prayed to God that you would turn to me,” Grange admitted to the singer.

By his own admission, the 17-year-old Arseniy Kurchanin started singing before he learned to speak. His interpretation of the song “The Watchmen” was liked by Sergei Shnurov and Valery Syutkin. At the request of mentors, Kurchanin also read his own rap, then went to the team to the leader of the Leningrad group.

Elimdar Seydosmanov joined the team of Valery Syutkin with the song I Feel Good. “The feeling that James Brown sings a song by Tom Jones,” the mentor described his impressions.

On the last note of the composition Miserere, known by Luciano Pavarotti, Konstantin Meladze decided to take Vrezh Kirakosyan into his team. Especially the mentor noted the will to win the participant from Armenia.

The performance of Daniil Danilevsky delighted all members of the jury - despite the fact that only Valery Syutkin left a vacant place, the whole four turned to the participant. “This is my boyfriend, do not touch” - Syutkin immediately went on the offensive.

In the final release of the stage of blind auditions, four contestants failed to go further. The failure of Oksana Simon with the song La Magia Del Ritmo upset the entire male part of the jury. “Maybe you'd better not to sing,” Sergei Shnurov recommended to the girl, and Konstantin Meladze summarized the mood of his colleagues: “I am very sorry that we did not hear your appearance in your performance.”

A similar situation has developed with Anastasia Smykova. The jury recognized her version of the song Life poorly prepared - however, the appearance of the artist made a good impression on the mentors. Ksenia Menshchikova’s speech was criticized for excessive volume and lack of sincerity.

Ekaterina Belyakova is a debutant in Golos from the city of Okhotsk, Khabarovsk Territory. She performed the jazz song I Got Rhythm. Valery Syutkin noted that he could not press the button, because many years ago he heard this song live performed by Ella Fitzgerald herself. Konstantin Meladze did not like the excess of special vocal techniques.

Selection is completed

The final composition of all teams included 12 performers. Valery Meladze gathered mainly a female team. At his disposal, among others, were the original Elizabeth Shaluba, romantic Polina Tyrina and Renata Shtifel, and Natalya Sidortsova was responsible for the notes of rock. A valuable asset in the team is Roman Voloznev, not only a vocalist, but also a composer.

On the contrary, Shnurov’s team will sound mostly male voices. In blind auditions, his wards were remembered for their vivid interpretations of such hits as Californa Dreamin '(Yves Nabiev), Leave a Light On (Anton Tokarev) and Wet Crosses (Stanislav Moshkin). Also, with a mentor, participation in the show will be continued by the graduate of the children's “Voice” Ragda Khanieva.

Polina Gagarina took patronage over diverse artists: this is a connoisseur of Italian classics Rinat Albikov, and cartoon lover Alana Chochieva, and Ekaterina Steblina, a follower of Zhanna Aguzarova.

Debuting in the jury, Valery Syutkin gathered artists from different countries: his team, for example, Narzhigit Subankulov from Kyrgyzstan, Karin Soyref from Gibraltar and Arsen Mukendi from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
