Lebanon has a large number of media, but the vast majority of television channels and newspapers have links with different political currents. From the beginning a month ago of the protest movement against power, new alternative and non-partisan media have emerged, including Megaphone, a media run by a group of young people.

The credo of Megaphone is independence. Volunteer director Tariq Kebla says that "it is extremely important, today more than ever, to let the independents speak, to listen to the real demands of the people."

In writing, the team is quickly caught up in the reality. The budget is very tight, there are no employees. The majority of them have to juggle several jobs. But their work seduces many Lebanese: their videos garner 750,000 views each week, in a country with 6 million inhabitants.
