A new show presented by Sophie Davant landed this Saturday night on France 2. The Letter is his name, allows "anonymous deserving" to receive a surprise from their idol, to whom one of their relatives secretly sent a letter.

"There is narration, things that go on set and others in the field," says Sophie Davant, at the microphone of Philippe Vandel on Europe 1. This Saturday, November 16 in the evening, viewers will discover his new broadcast on France 2, entitled The Letter .

Stars serving anonymous

The concept is simple: participants write a letter to a loved one's favorite star, explaining why he or she is important in his life. Then the idol has to choose the mail that touches the most, and prepare a nice gift for this anonymous. "It's a cascade of emotions and surprises," says the host. Alexandra Redde-Amiel, director of entertainment and varieties of France Télévisions, confirms: "It is the anonymous that we highlight, the stars are at their service!" Among those who have just agreed to play the game, Vincent Niclo, Bigflo & Oli, Mika, Jenifer or Marc Lavoine.

"Moments of truth"

"Entertaining is provoking things," adds Alexandra Redde-Amiel. And according to her, the show offers beautiful "moments of truth". But be careful not to compare The Letter to old shows like Stars at home of Flavie Flament (TF1) or Porte-Bonheu r Patrick Sabatier (TF1), because Sophie Davant replies: "It's funny how you always look comparisons and similarities, and what if it was a unique show that never happened? "
