Jane Thompson, a 62-year-old American opera player, died after her head hit the ground before a concert with the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
The incident took place shortly before the opening ceremony of the season at the Morris Gossman Concert Hall in Florida.
The band decided to dedicate a concert to be presented on December 10 next to the memory of the musician.
