At a border point between Argentina and Chile, customs officers arrested a pregnant woman after they complained about it.After careful inspection, they discovered that she was not carrying a child, but 4 kilograms of hashish, trying to smuggle it across the border, pretending to be in the last months of pregnancy.
The woman was arrested at a police checkpoint in an area known as Valle de Ocho near the border between Argentina and Chile.
After interrogation, the smuggled woman stated that she was heading to the border area of Patagonia.
Argentine security minister Patricia Pollrich posted the photos of the woman in her Twitter account, saying the arrested "made a dough from the dough and hid the drugs - cannabis."
An Argentine woman, who was accompanied by a man, was also arrested after trying to smuggle a quantity of drugs.
