An Austrian soldier died after two dogs were feeding him.

The Austrian army announced that the soldier, who was in charge of feeding them, spotted the two dogs, a type of "Belgian Shepherd", running free in the barracks south of Vienna, and tried to control them and put food for them.

The soldier was later found inside the dog's jam and an investigation was opened into the cause of the attack.

The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) quoted the Ministry of Defense that one of the dogs is fully trained military, while the other, about six months old, was about to undergo training.
