JR Yamanote Line for large-scale suspension November 16, 8:49

The JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo, which has been in operation for the opening of the new station, has been suspended for a long time since today's first train.

For those who say that there is a plan even if it is said to be a large-scale suspension, I tried to investigate "alternative means" and "Uru route" centering on JR.

First of all, it is between Ueno Station and Tamachi Station on the Yamanote Line's outer circuit line.

Since this section runs in parallel with the JR Keihin Tohoku Line, it can be replaced with one Keihin Tohoku Line.

Next, it is between Osaki Station and Tamachi Station on the Yamanote Line Inner Route. Please note that the route varies greatly depending on the station and destination you use. For example, if you are traveling from Shibuya Station to Shinagawa Station by JR, change to the Rinkai Line at Osaki Station and get off at Oimachi Station. If you change to Keihin-Tohoku Line at Oimachi Station, you can go to Shinagawa Station.

On the other hand, if you are aiming for Tokyo Station from Meguro Station or Gotanda Station, you should consider using the Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro, where “Transfer Transportation” is implemented.

The most difficult part of this suspension is Tamachi Station. The only way to enter Tamachi Station is the Keihin-Tohoku Line from Saitama. It seems better to consider using the nearby Mita Station on the Toei Subway.

This time, the routes introduced here are only representative, so we recommend that you check them on the railway company's website and apps.

JR East has a dedicated telephone window for this suspension and timetable. The telephone number is 050-2016-1620.
