Åsa Erlandsson is a criminal reporter at SVT. She is one of those who have done the review of the trial podium where they have talked to several affected families.

What have the relatives reacted so strongly to?

- They respond that they did not know anything, that no one has talked to them. They have felt betrayed, hanged and disrespectfully treated. They have said that it is like reliving their trauma, says Åsa Erlandsson.

Traditional media sometimes also receive criticism for sensational reporting on crime victims. But Åsa Erlandsson thinks that the pod's way of working differs from traditional media.

- Traditional media relate to the press ethical system, which means that an ethics is also maintained to prevent the legislature from entering and stripping the opportunity to report. It is about showing the greatest possible consideration for crime victims, being careful about name publications and carefully considering image publications. The trial pod calls itself transparent but in fact it is unfiltered.
