The most famous French rock opera will be back in October 2020, at the Seine musical.

The big come back after 18 years of absence. The cult rock opera "Starmania" will be on stage again in 2020, announces its co-creator, Luc Plamondon, in Paris on Tuesday. "The show has not been played in France since 2001 and there is a strong expectation," he says in the daily.

Many talents revealed

The first album "Starmania", co-created with Michel Berger, was released in 1978. Over the years, this very first French-language rock opera had revealed many musicians, like Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Maurane, and had been interpreted in English by big names of the song, including Celine Dion and Cindy Lauper.

The seventh version of "Starmania" is scheduled at the Musical Seine, in Boulogne-Billancourt, from October 6, 2020. Places are on sale this Tuesday. A Zenith tour is already planned in the wake.
