In Beheira Governor, the Egyptian authorities referred a doctor in a hospital for urgent investigation for violating prescription rules for treating a patient.

In detail, a gynecologist at Shubrakhit Hospital received a patient who arrived at the hospital complaining of post-menopausal body pain.


The doctor signed a medical examination on the patient who is illiterate and found that her condition is reassuring and does not need treatment, and for her insistence on the payment of any treatment for her, violated the rules for writing prescription and wrote only two words "any need"

The patient went to dispense prescription from the pharmacy, noticed a state of laughter plagued her staff, and asked them that the doctor ridiculed them, and wrote a strange prescription does not include any medicine.
The Governor of Beheira directed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to refer the doctor for investigation by the Directorate and apply the maximum possible penalty against him.
