The Noh Theater was completed at the Oomi Shrine in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, which is considered the oldest shrine in Japan, and a commemorative ceremony was held.

Completed was a full-fledged Noh theater with a traditional Noh stage and 350 spectator seats, which had been under construction for two years.

On the 10th, about 400 people participated, and a commemorative ceremony was held. After the priesthood gave a congratulatory word, the children dressed in traditional costumes dedicated the celebratory kagura.

The background of the Noh stage is a “pine tree” drawn by Japanese painter Aoi Maeda, which will be shown at the stage opening in the afternoon.

At the stage opening, Bunshi Otsuki, a Kanze-style human treasure, will perform a song and celebrate the completion.
