An Egyptian woman threw her child in the Nile River to rid him of the mistreatment of his grandmother in Beni Suef governorate in Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian police investigation revealed that the mother threw her child Abdul Rahman 3 years in the water of the river, before some fishermen rescued him from drowning and arrested the mother who confessed to committing the crime. And accuses it.
For her part, the child's grandmother lied to what the mother said in the investigation, and said that her daughter is suffering from a psychological condition because of separation from her husband.
The child was taken to the hospital and underwent medical examinations. A report of the incident was released and the Public Prosecution was informed of the investigation.
