Jordan, whose tourism is one of the main resources, is renowned for its splendid remains, among the most important in the Middle East, such as the Nabataean city of Petra, one of the seven wonders of the world, or the Roman temple of Jerash .

The Wadi Rum desert and the Dead Sea are also among its tourist attractions.
