• Mariana Enriquez, in The Paper Sphere. The life of Sylvia Plath

A road trip from Buenos Aires to the Iguazu Falls in the years of the Military Junta. And the relationship between a father and a son who are mediums in a secret society of the 70s. That is the premise of Nuestra part de noche , by Buenos Aires writer Mariana Enriquez, who has won the Herralde Novel Prize by imposing another 680 manuscripts .

Our part of the night is a book of more than 600 pages, with many novels inside. Part of the fantastic genre and terror to transcend its limits and talk about politics, family sagas, stories of love and friendship.

"'Our part of the night' overflows the conventions of the genre to which it is attached to rise to the category of total novel", highlights Gonzalo Pontón, one of the jurors composed by the editor SIlvia Sesé, the bookseller Lluís Morral and the writers Marta Sanz and Juan Pablo Villalobos .

Convened by Anagrama Publishing House and endowed with 18,000 euros, the Herralde has established itself as one of the reference awards in the Latin American field. And more after the success of Cristina Morales, the winner of the previous edition with Easy Reading and brand new winner of the National Narrative Prize of the Ministry of Culture.
