During the reading holiday, the children's radio jury went through all the nominated books. The jury members consisted of five students in grade six at Stockholm International Montessori School. The book that got the most points was F as the worst, written by screenwriter and youth book writer Cilla Jackert.

Watching Youtube rather than going to school

It is about Jonna, a not so perfect twelve-year-old. Things are going bad at school and Jonna would rather be at home watching Youtube and eating stolen candy. The three-year-old big sister Miriam is the opposite of Jonah. Miriam is talented with good grades and is admired by everyone, which makes Jonna often feel that she is in the cloud.

- I think they could relate to the fact that it is a pain to be someone that nobody believes anything about, and it is also a pain to be someone who has extremely high expectations for them all the time, says the author and continues:

- I want to convey a kind of calm, that one should not have to stir up much. I want you to feel that your own self-esteem does not come through the grades, or how many smiles you get. It's not just for kids, it's for adults, too. You can read the book with your children and think about what you signal to them yourself, says Cilla Jackert.

12-year-old Logan: "Couldn't release the book"

Logan Martinez, 12, is one of those who voted this year's winner.

- It captures what it's like to go to school in a good way, with grades and how much pressure you can sometimes have. That's what I think made the book win, he says.

- You really want to keep reading and see what happens. You get stuck and can't release the book, Logan Martinez concludes.
