On the 3rd of the night, a Karate charity concert was held in Tokyo to raise money for the reconstruction of Shuri Castle.

The Enbukai was held on the stage of a store specializing in Okinawa in Ginza, Tokyo. First, it was explained that karate, which originated in Okinawa, has been handed down to protect the royal family of Shuri Castle.

At the venue, one of the traditional schools, Goto school chairman Akito Yagi performed. Goju-ryu is characterized by a lot of techniques that are supposed to be close combat, and when a powerful knuckle with both suppleness and strength was shown, great applause was sent from the venue.

The people who visited there were making donations one after another to the reconstruction of Shuri Castle.

Last year, a woman in her 20s who went to Tokyo from Okinawa said, “I think that both karate and Shuri Castle have been protected by people, so I came to donate to do what I can do.”

Mr. Yagi, who planned the event, said, “I want to expand the circle of support by using karate.”

Donation boxes will continue to be installed in the store, and donations will be raised.
