The Supreme Judicial Council denied issuing a memorandum regarding the head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, after the announcement of the Integrity Commission in Iraq, on Friday, the issuance of 60 arrest warrants and recruitment of deputies and local officials on charges of corruption and waste of public money.

The council said in a statement: "The Media Center was informed of the statement of the victory coalition about the attempt to besiege the house of Abadi and inquire about the existence of a warrant against him or not, adding that he did not issue any warrant from the judiciary on Abadi.

The statement added that "in the event of a warrant issued by the judiciary against any person, the competent authorities to implement them are the official bodies of the State represented by the Ministry of the Interior, a body known to all follow the legal contexts public."
