An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 recorded off the coast of Chile

According to seismologists, the epicenter of tremors was recorded 86 km west of the Chilean city of Ovalier. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 km.

The earthquake occurred at 08:06 UTC (11:06 Moscow time).

No information was provided on the victims and the threat of the tsunami.

Earlier it became known that in the south of the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the British overseas territory South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands an earthquake of magnitude 6.1 was recorded.
